Dear Friends, July 3, 2024
We have been on furlough, traveling to report to supporters, as well as getting some health problems checked out. I have seen doctors about heart arrythmia issues I experienced when in Malawi this past year. I am scheduled to see a specialist in August. However, I haven’t had an issue with the heart in about a month.
Now for some good news. Camps in Moldova have been running the past few weeks. There were about 100 children the first week, and 67 children made a profession of faith. Last week there were 125 youth and 72 made a profession of faith. We praise God for 139 youth and children accepting the Lord in camp!
We have restarted the evangelistic Day Camps in Malawi. We have sent out 6 teams. These teams went through training and started two weeks ago. The teams have worked in 23 villages so far. They have preached to almost 1,000 and 362 people have made a profession of faith in Christ! These teams will be working through August. We are sure there will be many churches planted in these regions of Malawi as a result. Also, Magada, Michael, and Wilks have been busy visiting with churches on Sundays. They have had great meetings with as many as 18 churches coming together for rallies. Last week they reported 38 persons saved in one of these meetings. There has been a revival of spirit in our team, and they are working for souls. Is this the beginning of REVIVAL in Malawi? We pray it is.
Even though I have several doctors’ appointments scheduled these next few months, I am still visiting churches and have a few open dates. If you are anywhere in the eastern United States, we could look at the schedule and see if it is possible for us to come. I will visit the Wester States on my next furlough, Lord willing. Our plan is to leave for Malawi on January 4, 2025.
Pray for all I have mentioned, from my health to the various ministries in both Malawi and Moldova. Lots of work has gone into camps and ministries, and your prayers are definitely a part of God bringing results.
God Bless,
Eric Chapman D.D.
