Dear Friends,
We have had a very busy few months here in Malawi. It started with two pastor’s schools in February. John Mark Zeigler and two men from his church came to help teach. The emphasis was on making disciples. It was just a great conference and all the men in the mission were encouraged and eager to put the principles of discipleship in motion in their churches.
In March John Mark was the lead teacher in the Shephard’s Academy. Thirty of our young men came and studied for 4 weeks. Twenty-seven men passed all the classes with flying colors. Besides classes these young men were going soul winning, visiting local churches, and serving God in the community. Some of you support students and many of you pray for the schools. Thank you for your prayers and support.
John Mark and Miranda Zeigler with their two boys are coming next year as full-time missionaries. I’ve known John Mark since he was a baby and I’m sure of his character and heart for the Lord. The remainder of this year they will be on deputation trying to raise the remainder of their support. They still have open dates in the Eastern USA. I believe they would bless your church, if any of you would be interested in having them visit. John Mark is a gifted preacher and has a great burden for missions here in Malawi. Miranda sings and is a wonderful teacher of the Word. Their email is jmzieglermalawi@gmail.com. Contact them directly for profile information and scheduling.
We start medical clinics this week here in Malawi. Thank you for your support and prayers for this ministry outreach. On April 14th, Stephanie and I will travel to Moldova and the Ukraine. We are going to see, if it is possible to run camps and day camps in the Ukraine this summer. I’m visiting three camps and multiple churches to see the need and begin the process of helping spread the Gospel in Ukraine. We want to focus on young people whose lives have been devastated by lose of fathers or displacement.
The world is in turmoil with the fear of war and disease, but there are great opportunities for the Gospel. Pray we have wisdom and courage to step through the doors God is opening.
God Bless,
