Ukrainian Camps

Dear Friends, June 24, 2025
We completed the first week of camp in the Ukraine and are into the second week. Last week the 96 campers were ages 10-13. It was a wonderful week with a great bunch of kids. Some were from the local churches, but many were invited from the community. Our leadership team brought the Gospel and Biblical teaching directly to the level of the children, many of them heard for the first time that they could come to Christ and accept Him for themselves. At the end of the week 68 children made a sincere profession of faith in Christ.
I preached a combined youth meeting Sunday evening in one of the local churches in Ukraine. As a result the desire of the youth to come to camp was greater than our capacity. On Monday we started the camp for 14 to 18 year olds expecting 70 teens, but 110 came. Instead of turning them away we found room. Pray for us and for the Spirit of God to work in many of their hearts. The enthusiasm for the Word of God is something we haven’t seen in a while. We will include some pictures here.
We have discovered a local ministry offered to women and children whose husbands and fathers are away at the frontlines of the war. That ministry is planning a 5-day camp for them. I had not expected to sponsor this local church work; it costs $60 each to bring these women and their children for encouragement and comfort and to hear speakers and the Gospel at camp. I will not be directly involved with this ministry, but the need is obvious. If you feel led to sponsor this work, just mark the check or gift to “Camp for War Wives.” Please pray for this camp effort and for other works focused on helping the widows and orphans from the war.
Thank you.
God Bless,
Eric Chapman D.D.
