Dear Friends, September 28, 2024
As most of you know we are taking a 6-month working furlough and visiting as many churches as we are able. So far, it’s been just great reconnecting with old friends and making new friends. My health issues have been put before my doctors, and I think I am in good shape for an old guy.
In Malawi we are running our School of Discipleship. Timur Tricolici, one of my best young Moldovan men, has come down to teach the Bible classes for the month. We have 40 students total, and the school is going well. We are preparing these young men for ministry and a lifetime of service for God.
Our Malawian mission team has been visiting the village churches and holding rallies the past few months. A few months back, I believed a revival spirit was going through our churches, these recent rallies have confirmed this. The Spirit is working through the local preachers in our organization. Pray for our team leaders, Micheal, Wilks, and Magada, as they continue this important and vital work of spreading the Good News of Christ.
Day camps have finished for the summer. This year the 6 bicycle teams visited 66 villages, 3,661 people heard the Gospel, and 1,336 made professions of salvation in Christ!
Stephanie and I are heading back to Malawi on January 3, 2025. Pray for us as we prepare to return. Below is a link to the video we have been showing on furlough in our churches for those that haven’t been able to view it.

For any churches that we were not able to get to this time, I am available anytime for a zoom conference or interview. Hopefully we’ll see you in a couple of years.
God Bless,
Eric Chapman D.D.
