Moldovan Camps and Malawian Day Camps
We have been very busy this summer preaching the Gospel in southern Malawi. We have a GREAT report for you about the effort. Our eight teams have preached to 13,218 persons with 3,121 professions of faith. We have not included the professions of faith of children and we have lots of children 5 to 10 attending; we are happy to expose them to the Gospel and the church. We will run day camps until mid September. We have had young Evangelist Micah Self here for three weeks and he has done a great job preaching to the youth. I wish more young preachers would come and give their time to reach the lost here in Malawi.
In Moldova we have seen almost 2,000 youth attend the camps this summer and seen almost 1,100 professions of faith. We have two more weeks of camp. Next week we have our college age camp. In this camp we present the Bible Institute; please pray God will speak to hearts about dedication to the Lord and that some will come to our school for training.
I have really good news: We are able to purchase the Land Cruiser for the Mobile Medical Clinic as a result of a generous donation from an anonymous source. This will be a great blessing to the people of Malawi. We hope to begin the clinics in January 2015. We now need to raise $2,000 per month for the medicine and the local doctors. Attention: If your church has doctors or medical personnel that would like to help with this bush clinic, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
We ask for your prayers as we continue to serve our Lord in Malawi and Moldova.
